This is perhaps one of the best ways to describe the S650 Cabriolet, which is the first open-top model from Mercedes-Maybach. Unveiled right ahead of its LA Auto Show presentation, it has debuted on video, but unlike the powerful AMG models, which are usually driven aggressively on the track, the footage focuses on its exclusive features and high-end finishes.
The Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet uses a 6.0-liter bi-turbo V12 rated at 621 HP (630 PS), which comes straight from the AMG S65 Cabrio. The Germans have yet to release any performance details, but the "plain" AMG needs just 4.1 seconds to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) and it keeps going up to a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Wedo know, however, that the latest Maybach's average fuel consumption sits at 19.6 mpg US (12.0 lt/100 km) and that it emits 272 g/km of CO2.
