Nissan pulled back the veil on the new 2017 GT-R NISMO, which they say “takes the new GT-R to the next level.” The news about the advancements made in the latest iteration sure ar exciting, but what’s more exciting is the news that it will be debuting at Nurburgring today.
Ultimately, the 2017 GT-R NISMO remains mostly the same when compared to the 2015-2016 models, aside from a few details. The main difference between the two model years is the new and refreshed cabin. With a redesigned dashboard and steering wheel covered in Alcantara, Nissan notes in a press release that the GT-R’s new cabin has a “more upscale feel than ever before.” Additionally, Nissan simplified the centerstack, reducing the number of switches from 27 down to only 11. A new 8-inch touch-screen monitor for the infotainment center has also been installed.
