The basic formula for modern taxi cabs is pretty straightforward—a vehicle with ample space for luggage, good reliability and inexpensive running costs, and crucially plenty of seats for passengers.
By all accounts, a two-seat $200,000 Lamborghini Huracan supercar is probably one of the worst options to press into taxi cab service. It is however a very unique selection, and now this vibrant green Huracan is the UK’s newest hire car.
According to The Independent, the 2016 Lamborghini Huracan became the first supercar licensed for private taxi service in the United Kingdom, a license which was granted by the Wolverhampton City Council in the British West Midlands.
