New spy shots of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS have been snapped as the car undergoes cold weather development work. While Porsche has yet to confirm the existence of a GT2 RS in either development or the drawing board, these spy shots would seem to confirm the existence of such a model.
The test mule used here has all the tell-tale signs of a GT2 RS. The mule has the body of a 911 Turbo and features a larger, different rear bumper that appears to be designed to handle a larger, throatier exhaust. Also apparent is a carbon fiber hood. All of these minor clues point towards the possibility that this is indeed a GT2 RS development car.
