Mercedes-Benz has revealed the all-new GLC EV at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich. This launch marks a new era for the GLC, bringing advanced design, electrification, and premium technology into one flagship SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design and Platform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Mercedes-Benz GLC EV uses the new MB.EA electric platform. This foundation improves efficiency, balances weight, and allows a sleek body design. The exterior follows the \u201cSensual Purity\u201d philosophy, with smooth lines, a bold front fascia, and a strong SUV stance. Compared with the BMW iX3 and Audi Q6 e-tron, the GLC EV looks sharper and more refined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Performance and Range<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mercedes equips the GLC EV with a 94.5 kWh battery and a dual-motor system. Together, they deliver 483 horsepower and smooth all-wheel-drive performance. The 800-volt system supports ultra-fast charging, while the range reaches more than 400 miles EPA, or about 650 km WLTP. A two-speed transmission improves launch power and highway efficiency. With these specs, the GLC EV competes directly with the Tesla Model Y Long Range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
