The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee got a complete makeover, and while Jeep’s midsize SUV more than needed an update, it remained popular with buyers. The redesign brings a much improved vehicle while retaining the features that made it so popular in the first place. This is a good thing, because updating a popular model is always a risky business for an automaker. Longer, wider, taller and lighter than the outgoing model, the 2023 Grand Cherokee is roomier inside, and interior quality and materials have been upgraded. Notably, it still offers many choices, including a host of trim levels and a choice of V-6 or V-8 engines, plus an upcoming plug-in hybrid. Buyers also benefit from a wider range of technical and security features.
