According to McLaren, the vehicles are taking the brand’s personalization themes to the next level, offering various combinations of colors, trim, and finishes. These machines were created by McLaren’s own designers, with each element selected to be in perfect harmony with the rest of the car.
For example, the signature colors have been coordinated with different finishes and materials – after the designers decided which interior package complements the exterior the most. Customers are still free to further personalize the model with their own choice of options, but opting for a pre-designed model makes more financial sense, as it costs £8,500 ($10,563). A significantly lower price than the single option pricing – according to the Brits.
The model pictured, named Design Edition 1, combines the Vermillion Red body finish with five-spoke wheels with diamond-cut finish, as well as a stealth exhaust, and red brake calipers. On the inside the 570S features a Carbon Black Alcantara package and Apex Red Nappa leather seats with Slate Gray contrasting stitching – among other interesting color schemes.
These Design Editions are available only for the 570S, and their body colors include Storm Grey, Ventura Orange, and Silica White. So, if you want one in 2017, you should start ordering now.
